We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator to undertake operational control processes to assist in providing assurance that the British Red Cross’ treasury accounting banking records are complete and accurate.
What you will be doing
The Accounts Assistant will be dealing with our staff as well as our bankers and investment advisers and must be a strong communicator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate payment and posting of international payments. They will use their own initiative to investigate potential issues and will also be responsible for seeking ways to continually strengthen the organisation’s treasury procedures and controls.
About the team
This role is part of the general ledger team which is responsible for controlling the general ledger as well as operational treasury management and fixed assets. The tasks performed by the general ledger team are continually changing to match the needs of the organisation.
