The Administrator is a key supporting role within the Service Desk Team. This is mostly an internal facing role, taking many of the day to day tasks away from the first line Service Desk team, freeing them up to handle the technical queries from clients. The role will include regular administration tasks such as (not an exhaustive list):
·Updating data in the client database.
·Recording starters and leavers information.
·Recording holiday requests.
·Some liaison with clients to verify information.
·Other administrative processes as required.
Skills and Qualifications
·Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, sharepoint)
·A good working knowledge of excel is essential, being able to understand basic formulas as a minimum. Knowledge of pivot tables is desirable.
·Previous experience of using a customer/client database.
·Heavily process-oriented with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
·A flexible, can-do mentality and willingness to learn new skills.
·Confident, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
·Previous experience in a technical support role is helpful but not essential.
Hours and Location
·Working hours flexible, open to 4 or 5 hours per day Monday to Friday. Hours to be worked between 9am and 5pm.
·Office based – Twigworth, nr Gloucester.
Salary and Benefits
·Salary £20,800 FTE (Pro-rated down for part-time hours).
·22 days holiday, plus public holidays.
