Contract type: 12 Months FTC
Hours: 35 Hours per week (a minimum of three days part-time would be considered)
Working pattern: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Interview dates: 13th September, Thanet Street, London
Salary: £27,472 to £29,091 per annum + £4,105 pro rata per annum London weighting

As this role requires an Enhanced Disclosure check the start date for the successful candidate will only be confirmed upon receipt of the check.
Are you a qualified Habilitation specialist or a Rehabilitation worker keen to work with children and young people?
We’re looking for someone to join the dedicated team in London, whose services provide training to children and young people with a vision impairment to move around safely and independently.
The successful candidate would work shoulder-to-shoulder with other professionals for example: speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists and other organisations including local authorities.
In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experience meet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the Job Description below. Requirements include;
• Evidence of the ability to work safely with children and young people.
• Ability to liaise effectively with other professionals/agencies
• Ability to work directly with children and young people and their parents/guardians to carry out effective habilitation programmes, including low vision training
• Knowledge of range of resources available to Children & Young People with visual impairment
