Artis HR are currently supporting an exciting large business in Bath with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner / Senior HR Consultant, this is a permanent post and our client is open to both full and part time applications. This role is paying £35-40,000 but does have a little wiggle room for the right candidate.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HR professional to act as a business partner to our business services teams globally, comprising Marketing, Business Development, HR, Finance, Operations, IT, Commercial, etc.
Working with a diverse, cross-regional client base, you put your operational expertise to good use as you guide and advise key stakeholders at a variety of levels. We are open to both full and part-time candidates (spread across a minimum of 4 days) and can support flexible working.

Providing operational HR expertise to a business services groups of approximately 250 staff globally, your role will see you working with the Head of HR to ensure that the day to day delivery of HR services is of the highest calibre. Your relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and collaborative style will all serve you well in this role, as will your outgoing, approachable persona. Supporting service heads and leadership teams on all HR matters, you will have the opportunity to expand and grow on your business partnering skills in a forward-thinking, creative environment based in Bath.
Working as part of a wider, close-knit global team, you will also need to collaborate with HR generalists and specialists in other regions to perform your role in line with local employment law and standards.
Naturally this will be a varied and involved role but responsibilities will include:
*Provide advice to line managers on HR policy and process and in accordance with current employment law.
*Advising on and managing complex employee relations matters
*Driving client group relationships through continuous improvement and regular review of customer needs, establishing and maintaining credibility with Heads of Functions and Directors, demonstrating adaptability to partner within a matrix organisation.
*Effecting behavioural change in support of agreed global HR initiatives and actions.
*Maintaining an effective balance between regional operational demands, local and global HR policy and practice.
*Developing effective internal HR relationships with specialists (including HR Operations, Resourcing, L&D and Reward).
*Assist the resourcing team in identifying recruitment gaps, providing support to line managers throughout the hiring process.
*Provide support in assessment interviewing and selecting.
*Supporting line managers in the on boarding and probation phases of hiring
*Working closely with the business managers and directors to embed leadership development and succession planning identifying and developing high potential employees.
*Keep the senior stakeholders appraised of relevant people developments, internally and externally, providing an understanding of their implications for delivery of business plans and any associated remedial actions.
*Provide robust advice to managers on matters such as parental leave, relocation and secondments, disciplinary processes, team management and development.
*Working with the HR Operations team to ensure changes in personnel data are appropriately recorded, conducting regular audits of data and delivering reports to internal leadership teams

*Practical UK Employment Law knowledge
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, able to modulate language and obtain positive outcomes and work with a variety of stakeholders
*Confident, personable and diplomatic individual who connects easily a variety of people, able to quickly build trust
*Confident in utilizing HR data to enhance management understanding and decision making
*Mediation, coaching or mentoring skills
*Experience supporting recruitment process with regard to selection, interview and onboarding.
*Experience of providing HR advisory, transactional and administrative services to a senior leadership team
*Experience of working within the engineering sector or professional services.
*CIPD Qualified (or recognised global equivalent) HR practitioner or working towards.
