Management Development Consultant – 3 days per week – 6 month contract

Our client operate on a national basis in the leisure sector and we are working with them to recruit an experienced Management Development Trainer. This is a new job, for an initial 6 month period, working on a part-time, 3-day-a-week basis. You will be responsible for identifying learning needs, developing blended learning programmes and enhancing & delivering development programmes. As an experienced learning & development professional you will build management capability to support the delivery of the business strategy, objectives and workforce plan.

This job will require strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience designing and delivering management training. You will ensure all training and development activities and materials meet with learning and development best practice and relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of new learning and development practices and methodologies and preferably be familiar with MBTI and the Belbin theory. The job will require some travel to other sites with an occasional, planned overnight stay. Competent IT skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint is essential as well as experience using the e-learning package Articulate Storyline.
