Playworker £5,710 per annum
Part-time (16 hours per week), fixed term (18 months)
Regenda is now recruiting a Playworker to work with Centre 56 in Liverpool.
About the role
The main purpose of this role is to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children who have experienced domestic abuse or a crisis situation, attending the After School Club. In conjunction with the Nursery & After School Manager, you will be responsible for organising a programme of activities for children aged 5 – 14 years.
The ideal applicant will be qualified to a level 3 either NVQ or Play work. You will possess a good working knowledge in Safeguarding – Child Protection, and a keenness to build good relationships with children, parents and staff.
You will have a Paediatric first aid certificate & Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain them.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
