Right now were looking for someone to join our successful Recovery into Employment project as a Recovery Employment Mentor. Were open to candidates applying who are interested in choosing a full or a part time contract of at least 22.5 hours per week.
Recovery Employment Mentors provide an individual- focused service which supports those in recovery to move towards an overall goal of Employment. Whilst employment focused, the programme isnt just about securing employment. The role focuses on a spectrum of support to primarily ensure that the continuing recovery is the single most important factor but that other factors which can influence a relapse are adequately supported.
Working from a base in Thetford which will soon incorporate a café, the role links in with other specialists and specialist organisations to ensure as far as possible that we represent a one-stop shop of support services. The services include, recovery, housing, access to education and training and job seeking support which includes CV creation and application support.
