Salary in the region of £35,998 – £43,558 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

The Wellcome Sanger Institute conducts cutting edge genomic research on an unprecedented scale and our administration team plays a vital role in enabling and supporting our science. The Human Genetics Programme is currently looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and skilled Research Administrator to provide maternity cover support.
Providing dedicated support to the Head of Programme and their Faculty Teams within the Human Genetics Programme, our Research Administrators need to take a collaborative approach to their work. Preferable candidates will hold a science degree and will have proven experience of working within a research environment. We are looking for individuals who can provide an efficient administrative service and facilitate effective communication between the Programme, key internal stakeholders and external partners. Strong project management skills, as well as recent experience of handling budgets and producing high quality grant applications, reports and briefing materials will be advantageous.
