The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,965 – £43,470 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is a department within UCL and part of The Bartlett faculty, known internationally for its radical thinking about space, design and sustainability. The work of the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is influencing global policy decisions and creating new policy collaborations to deliver public value-driven innovations.
The research fellow will work closely with two research projects: first, Growinpro (funded by the European Union’s Horizon2020 programme), that aims to provide a detailed analysis of the causes of the anaemic growth performance observed in Europe during the last decades and, in particular, after the Great Recession; and second, AT2030 (funded by UK Department for International development), focusing on innovations life changing assistive technologies.
The post is for 24 months in the first instance and further funding may become available.
The post holder will work predominantly on emerging innovation policy frameworks, focussing on how mission-oriented policies can address the societal challenge of climate change fostering the transition towards a green economy.
We are looking for an innovative individual with experience on writing for policy and academic audiences who will contribute on new models of innovation policy; collaborate with participants and stakeholders in above mentioned research projects, and other relevant research projects at IIPP.
