We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher to join our STEPS team.
This newly designed programme will be an alternative provision; adopting a formal and non-formal approach for 16-18 year olds where attitudes, behaviours, circumstances or prior achievements have prevented them from accessing a vocational college course.
The STEPS teacher will:
– Provide exciting learning experiences
– Deliver Functional Skills maths, English and tutorials
– Work cooperatively with partners and colleagues to ensure that every student receives an individualised and high-quality learning journey.
The successful candidate must have experience of teaching Functional Skills maths and English and have expertise and a passion for working with challenging students.
If you think you have the skills, drive and motivation to transform student potential then this could be the opportunity for you.
Please note that priority will be given to any internal candidate placed ‘at risk’ if needed.
