I am looking for an ambitious associate who is interested in joining a highly regarded disputes team to focus on commercial litigation and international commercial and investment treaty arbitration.

Client Details

The team’s work is typically high profile, predominantly for large international clients (both private and public) across a range of sectors, including energy, natural resources and infrastructure, telecommunications, hospitality, sports and financial services.

Description

• Manage and conduct international arbitration proceedings.
• Provide legal advice to clients on dispute resolution strategies.
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Collaborate with legal teams in different offices and jurisdictions.
• Monitor legal risk in arbitration proceedings.
• Maintain client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the team and department’s knowledge development and sharing.
• Comply with all professional standards and regulations.

Profile

A successful International Arbitration Associate should have:

• An educational background in Law.
• Experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution.
• Knowledge of arbitration, both in commercial disputes and public international law.
• Experience of all of the major institutional arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and ICSID.
• Ability to work with a degree of independence.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal cases.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
