Redfish are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 Principal Contractor working a high profile renewable energy project who require a Health and Safety Manager.

The project offers the opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager with major civil / construction project experience to further their career while also providing essential Health and Safety guidance.

Main responsibilities include;

  • Carry out regular, planned HSEQ inspections and audits.
  • Chair and attend Project HSEQ meetings and committees as agreed with the project teams, Liaise with Client, Principal Designer, Project teams about project HSEQ requirements.
  • Produce comprehensive audit reports inclusive of recommendations for improvement and verify that corrective and preventive action has been taken.
  • Manage the project accident, incident investigation process through to lessons learnt with effective communication.

To thrive in this role you will require;

  • Demonstrable experience and achievements as a Health and Safety Manager
  • Experience in a civil engineering and build environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of completing internal audits and inspections.
  • Experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
  • A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation.
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety & Health
