SERVICE COORDINATORPertemps Crawley are working on behalf of a successful and growing Service and Maintenance company based in Burgess Hill, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented team player to join their friendly team. As an essential part of operations, you will efficiently coordinate and schedule the engineering team to ensure optimal productivity, client satisfaction and a high first-fix rate.Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound enquiries and serve as clients’ primary point of contact for service and maintenance requests
- Work closely with the engineering team to prioritise tasks based on urgency, client requirements, and operational needs
- Effectively manage the scheduling of the engineering team, assigning planned preventative tasks and call-out appointments, considering engineer expertise, location, and workload capacity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date planners for engineers and internal departments
- Promptly address and resolve scheduling conflicts, keeping clients and the engineering team informed
- Work towards achieving and maintaining a high first fix rate
- Identify and contribute to process and service improvements
- Utilise strong IT skills to efficiently manage company systems
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience scheduling operatives, technicians or engineers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and the engineering team
- Ability to quickly address and resolve scheduling conflicts with a solutions-oriented approach
- Meticulous attention to detail in managing schedules, calendars, and client communications
- Ability to strategically maximise resource utilisation for optimal outcomes
- Strong proficiency in IT
