Job Description:
As a Sawmill Production Operative, you’ll be at the heart of crafting top-notch timber products. Your duties will encompass:
Operating and maintaining various cutting-edge sawmill machinery and equipment.
Ensuring the safe and efficient processing of timber, every step of the way.
Vigilantly monitoring the quality of timber products and promptly reporting any anomalies.
Assisting in the precise stacking and storage of finished products.
Upholding stringent health and safety standards at all times.
Shifts:
Morning Shift. 5am start, Monday to Friday. Finishing around 1pm. With an early finish on a Friday.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred, but newcomers are welcome).
A keen eye for detail, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
A steadfast commitment to workplace safety, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
A collaborative spirit, as you’ll be an integral part of our closely-knit team.
Your own reliable transportation to access our picturesque location on the outskirts of Lockerbie.

– 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
