The team is made up of 4 partners, currently 20 associates, two professional support lawyer and a dedicated business development lead. You will have the opportunity to work with any of the partners within the team and elsewhere offering you the opportunity to gain exposure to different working styles and approaches.

Job Description

The work involves advising on matters of intellectual property, technology, digital, cyber, emerging technology, telecoms, strategic sourcing and complex commercial contracts, e-commerce and data rather than specifically covering one area.

You will be:

Advising on the IP/IT aspects of M&A, disposals and joint ventures.

Advising on trademarks.

Supporting our clients on cyber matters.

Advising on the full range of sourcing arrangements.

Advising on commercial IT arrangements from global technology outsourcings.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be qualified in England & Wales with a background in a leading International or highly ranked firm.

You will need:

Appropriate level of post-qualification experience (between 1-5 PQE in a City or leading international firm).

First rate legal/commercial knowledge and analytical skills.

Exposure to complex IP/technology transactions or commercial contracts.

Previous experience giving IP/technology advice in a strategic context.
