We need a Sales Executive to weave Mandarin Oriental magic through our sales materials.
When you sell Mandarin Oriental, you’re not selling beds for the night; you’re selling an experience – one that begins in the lobby and spreads to our spa, to our bars and restaurants, and ultimately to our bedrooms.
As a Sales Executive, you’ll be able to add a touch of glamour to your professional portfolio. After all, it’s a chance to work with one of the brands that define the city. To sell our hotel is to sell the spirit of London itself, so we need people who understand our philosophy and can translate it to our guests.
About the role
As Sales Executive you will be responsible for the smooth running of Sales for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
The scope of the position will include:
- To achieve budgeted revenues in Groups in keeping with the annual budget and marketing plan.
- To primarily handle entertainment enquiries at Enquiry handling stage: Proposing, following up, contracting and carrying out site inspections to achieve high levels of conversion.
- To support sales colleagues from Groups Team when necessary with sending proposals, following up, conducting site visits
- To handle all group planning aspects: confirming final details, creating group memos, carrying out operational site inspections, pre con meetings, attending weekly OPS meetings, following up after the group
- To support sales activities within and outside the Hotel
- To ensure effective communication with other hotel departments to enable the smooth operation of in-house groups and functions.
