Our Client is creating a venture studio for a dynamic global tech and digital company currently operating in stealth mode. Together, we’ll build a pipeline and portfolio of ventures and investments that will nurture the environment; create new ways of living in community and harmony; provide pride, place, purpose to its inhabitants; and develop technologies across a broad array of sectors to empower humankind. These ventures will touch every aspect of life – energy and water, education, health, food, nature, renewable energy, tourism, media, financial services, mobility, and more. The Studio is also helping to create the world’s first ecosystem of cognitive technologies, including unrivaled connectivity, computing capability, AI, and robotics that will enhance lives and protect our planet.

The Role

• You will own all events for the Global Entrepreneur Institute program for our Client
• You will build a global entrepreneurial ecosystem for the Client with a focus on developing entrepreneurs, delivering best-in-class sponsored experiences, and expanding the Client’s brand recognition
• With the support of your event managers and marketing specialists, you will collaborate with Client leadership to grow entrepreneurs and to bring venture financers, and strategic partners into the Client’s portfolio of world-changing programs
• You will also supervise the management of events, network with candidate speakers and attendees, supervise marketing and outreach, and select locations for events
• Define a ‘catalog’ of all events and manage hand-picked Event Managers
• Support hiring and manage the Entrepreneur Institute execution team
• Regular updates to the Client leadership will demonstrate both the growth of the ecosystem and the global profile of the programs
• Success in this role requires strong ownership and the ability to think big, influence key stakeholders, define strategy aligned to the business objectives, set partner-centric goals and KPIs, establish clear processes, and manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-moving environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proven end-to-end program management experience that delivers strong results
• 6+ years practical experience in first- and third-party events (live, virtual, hybrid)
• Some travel required – around 20-25% of the time
• You enjoy creating impactful content and receiving constructive feedback
• You love the idea of a fast-paced startup environment where everyone chips in, and no task is beneath you. You are comfortable tackling new challenges on your own, and you know how to develop your own process to efficiently work to a solution
• The ability to communicate effectively is crucial for you. You are comfortable with conveying concepts and ideas in both spoken and written forms, and you are careful and deliberate with the language you use
• Any topic can be interesting and engaging for you, and a deep understanding of how something works is always your goal
• Everyone claims they’re detail-oriented, but you take it to the next level. You are methodical, and the processes you utilize ensure there are no inconsistencies in the final product
