Account Manager – Stocksbridge – £35,000 – £55,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be with an innovative business who are currently going through a strong period of growth and are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their friendly team. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be required to develop and implement sales strategies in defined market sectors. Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

• Promoting new and maintain existing business by face-to-face contact, telephone calls and e-mail
• Maximising business potential by involvement in obtaining individual orders and negotiating & setting up approved pricing agreements
• Maintaining an overview of all aspects of customer service encompassing stock control, sales, credit control, logistics and quality control
• Monitoring special stocks for key accounts and liaise with purchasing & technical personnel to ensure ongoing achievement of customer requirements
• Producing detailed and accurate reports with regard to sales forecasts, market information and competitor activity
• Using a structured and analytical approach, achieve a planned and organised programme of customer contact
• Providing a liaison with sales management, internal sales and all relevant departments in order to maximise customer potential
• Ensuring that customer complaints and issues are routed through the appropriate technical channels for resolution

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven sales experience within a commercial or similar environment
• A working knowledge of IT and a high level of interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation, initiative and tenacity are important personal attributes for this role
