A great opportunity has opened up for an experienced accounts payable clerk. This role is to help clear a backlog of work within the accounts payable team. This interim position is for 2-4 months initially, based in Bury and offering between £24,000 to £26,000 equivilent per an hour.

Description

Duties include:

• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Posting invoices and credit notes
• Reconciliation
• Resolving any queries
• Preparing and processing payments
• Ensuring information on the system is accurate and up to date
• Reviewing and matches purchase orders
• Ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within an accounts payable function – essential
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team – essential
• Have intermediate excel knowledge and skills – essential
• Be able to use their own initiative – essential
• Be proactive and maintain positive attitude – desirable
