ROLE – Assembly Technician LOCATION – Northwest LondonTERM – PermanentSALARY- £27,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer within Power and Defence sectors. They are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their team in Northwest London on a permanent basis.The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• Ideally be experienced building high precision products and parts
• Knowledge of welding, fine assembly and measuring equipment
• A background in Manufacture would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Team player
• Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture

The Assembly Technician role will involve:

• Mechanical assembly of a variety of high precision products and equipment
• Working to procedures and instructions

• Working with copper and brass – soldering and brazing

• Testing and fault-finding
• Repair and calibration
• Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
