Assistant Residential Property Manager Part Time

TeamJobs have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Residential Property Manager to join an upbeat and busy team based in Poole. The property management team deal with daily management of their portfolio situated in the local area. This includes a mixture of residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about their work, and have excellent organisational skills.

Full time – Permanent

Monday – Friday

£22,000 – £26,000 per annum DOE

Use of company vehicle

Free parking onsite

Full UK driving license is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with letting and marketing of properties, including conducting property viewings and responding to inquiries
  • Aiding in tenant move-ins and move-outs, conducting inspections, and drafting lease agreements.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs by working with contractors and the in-house maintenance team.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all property related activities.
  • Ensuring properties comply with current EICR, Gas Safety, and Fire risk assessments.
  • Collaborating with the works department for planned and unplanned repairs.
  • Managing rent collection & liaising with the accounts department.

What we require from you:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a lettings or property management role, or a similar position, is required.
  • Administrative proficiency: Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for managing paperwork, scheduling appointments, and record-keeping.
  • Office skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required for creating reports, managing emails, and preparing documents. We can provide training for the specific software in use.
  • Phone etiquette: Excellent communication skills are vital for handling tenant inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Data entry accuracy: Precise data entry skills are necessary for maintaining accurate tenant records and financial information.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals in a friendly yet assertive manner, both in person and over the phone.
