An exciting opportunity has become available to join us as a part-time Associate Specialist at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, New Dawn Ward.
Cygnet Health Care is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of specialist mental health treatment and associated care across a range of mental health services. We pride ourselves on being a provider of high quality care which is responsive to the changing needs of service users and our Commissioners.
We aim to appoint an Associate Specialist to work part-time (24 hours per week), sharing work with another Associate Specialist in post who is providing cover on Monday and Tuesday. The post holder will be based in the 9 bed specialist Tier 4 female personality disorder ward at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.
He/she will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide medical input into the safe & effective management of female patients who have a diagnosis of personality disorder and who need either a short-term crisis intervention or a longer-term therapeutic treatment programme.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Associate Specialist to join the Cygnet Healthcare Ealing team. You will closely work with a committed MDT and act as a fully involved practising Psychiatrist, holding responsibility for all patients assigned to them under the supervision of the responsible Clinician and Consultant Psychiatrist.
Personal development opportunities exist by way of an academic program for medical staff. There will also be the opportunity to undertake clinically relevant research, audit and contribute to the unit quality improvement initiatives. This post provides an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist, tertiary-level service and for the successful candidate to contribute to the development of the services as they respond to the changing healthcare landscape.
