Audit and Accounts Senior – Liverpool City Centre
Our client is a leading firm based in Liverpool who are keen to find an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their expanding team.The successful candidate will demonstrate good communications skills, aptitude and the ability to assume additional responsibilities when required.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Audit & Accounts:
- Assisting with/Planning and carrying out audits
- Larger accounts preparation jobs for audit exempt limited companies, partnerships, LLPs
- Planning the assignment including identification of key risks, materiality calculations etc
Controlling the assignment and ensuring each section area is completed
Providing audit partner/manager with complete assignment file for review
Supervise and train audit trainees during assignments
Preparation of statutory accounts using CCH/Iris software
Preparation of corporation tax computations using CCH/Iris software
Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
Completing assignments within agreed time budget
Keep technically up to date
Liaising directly with clients and building a strong rapport with clients
The ideal candidate for this Audit & Accounts Senior Role:
- Part Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Good communication skills and be able to deal confidently and effectively with both clients and staff alike.
