ProTalent’s client is a highly reputable and well-established accountancy practice located in Cambridge, who are seeking an experienced and professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) or part qualified Audit Senior/Accountant to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

– Perform audit procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.- Conduct audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.- Assume management responsibilities for select clients based on previous audit experience.- Supervise and provide training to junior staff members.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, accounts, and reports.- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, particularly corporation tax.- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements:

– Minimum of 12 months of audit experience within an accountancy practice is essential.- ACA, ACCA qualification or part qualification is required.- Strong technical competence in audit procedures and financial reporting.- Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service.- Experience in supervising and training junior staff members is advantageous.- Ambitious and self-motivated with a drive to develop a successful career.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
