Our client is a Plumbing and Heating Merchant and Service Provider who pride themselves on quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

They are looking for a highly motivated, reliable and friendly person with a can-do attitude, to lead their team, manage daily operations and drive sales growth to the next level.

This is a full-time position that requires a confident, driven individual, able to work both independently and as part of a growing, successful team.

Salary & Hours

  • £28K – £35K (subject to experience)
  • 7 am – 5 pm; Monday to Friday
  • 8 am – 1 pm; Every other Saturday

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serving customers
  • Taking deliveries
  • Managing stock levels
  • Ordering and booking stock in/out
  • Quoting materials (email, phone & f2f)
  • End of day banking
  • End of month sales figures prepared
  • Locking and opening up
  • Face-to-face sales
  • Answering phones
  • Managing other staff members
  • Setting sales targets
  • Tracking leads and enquiries

Experience Needed

  • Previous experience in a plumbing trade counter is essential
  • Previous experience with POS systems is essential
  • Managerial experience is essential
  • Retail experience is an advantage

Other/Special Requirements

  • Driving licence required for ad-hoc local deliveries
