Heath Electrical Services is looking for a talented and results-driven Business Development Manager to help us expand our client base and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and maximizing sales opportunities. The Business Development Manager will play a vital role in developing and executing business strategies to achieve our growth objectives in the UK market.
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential target markets and key decision-makers.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to generate leads and convert them into clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Actively engage in networking activities, industry events, and conferences to promote the company’s brand and expand the professional network.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and materials to support business development efforts.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights to the management team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive integrated business strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably in the Energy sector.
Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Valid UK driving license and the willingness to travel as required.
