This is a large public sector organisation based in Cardiff that works to protect and improve health and well-being and reduce health inequalities for the people of Wales.
Your new role
To provide comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical and business support as part of the company’s administrative resources. The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with directorates, divisions and stakeholders. Stakeholders may include people with a learning disability and their families and carers. To produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance policies. This is a key supporting role in the effective running of the team, contributing to the co-ordinating and delegating of work, ensuring consistency with the agreed work plan. This may include monitoring and reviewing admin staff within the team, providing advice and support when necessary. Meeting bookings, diary management and minute taking are main parts of this role.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Administrator, with proven experience in a similar role. You will have excellent communication skills and be professional and confident in liaising with various members of the organisation and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work off your own initiative. You will have good IT skills, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
