Job Purpose: The post holder will be responsible for undertaking Clerk of Works duties associated with the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficiency Scotland: Area Based Scheme (EES:ABS). This is a long-term programme to support the national improvements in line with Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 and statutory duties for the Council.
To provide a high quality, customer focused Clerk of works service ensuring that statutory requirements and the policies of the Highland Council, where they relate to the construction, modernisation, inspection and maintenance of both Council and other agency properties are properly and effectively complied with.
