Pay: up to £65k depending on experience

Location: Office based at one of our locations (tbd) but we’re ok with a bit of hybrid working

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll be a super talented and experienced Clinical Director who will come in to join our senior leadership team. You’ll combine having some serious clinical experience with being a savvy and inspirational team leader. Start-up experience or a track record of growing a therapy service would be ideal as we’ll be looking for you to help us rapidly scale up to the next level of service provision and help us to shift the culture around mental health as we expand across the UK.

Core job role:

Amongst other things, you’ll be:

• Setting the strategy and overseeing the business plan for our how we run our clinical services, including within psychoeducation as well as in terms of managing budgets and resources
• Maintaining clinical excellence, optimising client care pathways and ensuring we deliver against quality KPIs across the clinical team
  Overseeing safeguarding, training, policies and pastoral care for clinicians
• Ensuring compliance across the team with statutory regulations, codes of conduct and data protection matters (GDPR/DBS etc.)
• Communicating our clinical narrative across the business
• Fostering a creative, innovative and thriving culture of continuous professional development and making sure that we share best practice across the clinical team
• Hiring staff and maintaining an on-call rota at least 12 weeks in advance, as well as ensuring service continuity and out-of-hours support
• Forging links with local universities to create a pipeline of student therapists into the organisation including, where appropriate, delivering talks and recruitment campaigns to raise our profile as well as managing student placement schemes in line with UEL and BACP requirements.
• Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, processes and initiatives
• Deputising for the founders and senior leaders where necessary

What You’ll Need:

• A degree (or higher) in a therapeutic field
• A track record of leading and overseeing fast-growing therapy services
• Minimum of 7 years in a leadership role within a mental health organisation or related field.
• Demonstrable ability to think creatively and drive innovation in mental health programming and services.
• Understanding of both B2B and B2C markets in the mental health space.
• Experience collaborating with business development and marketing teams.
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Leadership experience in clinical services.
• The ability to think big and to lead and manage others.
• Safeguarding experience.
