CNC Programmer Part Time

This role will see you focus on setting up and operating CNC Machines on site. You will be required to programme the CNC machines using a range of CAM/CAD software.

Description

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Write, modify, and optimise CNC programs using CAM/CAD software.
• Perform regular machine maintenance, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to optimise production processes.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

Profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
• Familiarity with CAM/CAD software and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Knowledge of machine tooling and cutting tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
