Credit Controller Hybrid, Yeadon Leeds – £23-26K + Benefits

Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable Credit Controller to join our team. This role is on a hybrid contract in Yeadon Leeds. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 – £26,000 per annum plus benefits.

As our Credit Controller, you will ensure the security and profitability of Bibby through efficient and effective credit control of a portfolio of clients.

You will establish and maintain a professional and efficient relationship with their allocated portfolio of clients.

Your responsibilities as our Credit Controller will include:

• To manage, and be responsible for, his/her own case-load of files on a daily basis, contacting customers by both telephone, letter and email.
• Be a strong team player who proactively provides support across teams
• To report problem cases to the Collections Manager
• To ensure the profitability of Bibby through efficient and effective credit control of a portfolio of debtors
• To establish and maintain a professional and efficient relationship with their allocated portfolio of debtors.
• To provide excellent standards of customer service.
• To ensure that all relevant legislation and procedures are adhered to and complied with, including Data Protection, Consumer Credit Act and the Financial Conduct Authority.
• To ensure that security is maintained at all times within the systems operated by the company
• Ensure that the application of the strict Provisioning policy in all cases across a portfolio of debtors through efficient and effective Credit Control.

What we are looking for in our ideal Credit Controller:

• Experience in a collections environment, particularly collecting on Business to Business lending
• Experience of working within the Financial Services Sector
• Communication skills – Maintain high level professional conduct with internal and external customers via face to face, the phone, email and in written communication
• Manage credit control of debtor portfolio whilst providing a high level of customer service + protecting Bibby s interests at all times
• Listen and interpret information – Good listening skills, understand how and when to action information, to the appropriate person
• Provide excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
