Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client based in Thatcham who are seeking a Customer Service Advisor. The role is working Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm and offering a salary of 24,000 – 27,000, plus a list of benefits including 25 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays, private healthcare, employee wellbeing, free onsite parking, full product and system training.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Receive initial enquiry or instruction from both existing and potential customers by telephone and email.
- To supply customers with information and advice on the suitability of equipment available
- Consult with other departments for technical information and prices on non-standard enquiries & products.
- To negotiate with customers on current product rates
- Consult with customers on requirements and raise computerized quotations. Follow up all quotations and ask all required questions.
- Forward customers new credit account applications and monitor for completion.
- Accept and process hire/sales orders and off hires.
- Process all received off hires and raise collection notes.
- Conduct confirmation calls to customers to check on all deliveries made
- Where necessary assist with yard procedures.
