This role will involve heading up a team of three but the team size will grow as the business continues to expand.
Customer Services Team Leader
Full Time Permanent role – office based

Workplace based in Burgess Hill with plenty of on road parking nearby, also a short walk from nearest mainline station
Salary 35000 plus very good company benefits
The role:
Working closely with the Head of Sales and company Account Managers. This purpose of this role is to manage and develop the customer service department, whilst delivering exceptional customer service at all stages to exceed expectations of clients and customers
Duties / Responsibilities will include:
Manage the Customer Service team into a high performing, seamless support function.
Management responsibility for day-to-day leadership and development of the Customer Service team.
Recruit, motivate and retain the most effective customer services required to meet demand and exceed client expectations.
Training and development, including coaching to create a high performing team.
Manage team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Maintain a high personal profile / lead role in customer service activity with major clients.
Maintain a working knowledge of products and developments and ensure that they are used to deliver maximum service to customers and commercial return to the business.
Attend customer meetings, exhibitions/shows and events as required (including occasional overnight stays).
Process orders within agreed service levels
Answer incoming calls and pro-actively contact customers, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Maintain close working relationships with other departmental heads.
Responsible for driving sales through the company online portal.
Manage the individuals within the team, setting direction and goals, holding performance reviews, and maintaining effective communication.
Produce regular reports on team activities
Key skills and competencies required:
Proven experience of leading a team within a customer services / support function
Good computer skills
Excellent customer services skills
Ability to lead from the front
