About the role
You will be at the forefront of transforming how we deliver complex change across the business. This is a new and vital role which will be responsible for co-designing, supporting mobilisation and running the Enterprise-wide Centre of Excellence for all Programme and Project Management professionals, assisting in defining the frameworks, tools and standards required to execute complex change with high quality. You will support large parts of the business P&L by coaching and helping business leaders and programme managers adopt new frameworks, standards and approaches to programme delivery and then apply 1st line controls to ensure consistency and quality improvements through adherence to Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3M) global practices.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Head of Delivery Assurance to design and roll out a new Programme Management and delivery methodology for HL, whilst integrating with and modifying existing delivery frameworks e.g. The Change Delivery Framework (CDF)
Supporting the creation of a P3M Centre of Excellence and ensure all programme and project professionals feel part of the community and work to a consistent set of standards
Supporting the design, build and mobilisation of a 1st Line Delivery Assurance approach for all programme and projects covering controls, health checks, quality reviews and Post Investment Reviews for presentation to ELT and Plc Board stakeholders
Support the design and drive the build and implementation of a new Programme Portfolio reporting suite including delivery status, OKR and commitment trackers for consumption by ELT, Board and SLT stakeholders.
Manage and maintain portfolio level reporting, quality reviews and Post Investment Reviews for presentation to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Plc Board stakeholder
Manage and run 1st line assurance of all BIC committed programme & project outcomes (time, cost, quality, scope, benefits), to achieve the best possible result for HL and our clients
About you
Significant experience of P3M and Delivery Assurance
Experienced in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
Demonstrable evidence of defining, establishing, and facilitating programme governance structures to keep key stakeholders engaged, aligned and on track (up to SLT level)
Significant experience and expertise outside of portfolio management that are key to delivery: Business case development, product strategy and operational readiness
Expertise and experience of delivering highly complex change in business to business and business to consumer environments and streamlining processes and ways of working
High commercial and influencing skills, demonstrated at SLT and able to deliver and thrive in ambiguous situations
Demonstrates a curious nature, exploring new ways of working and questions the details to gain full clarity on what is required to achieve goals

Working Schedule
We are looking for a Delivery Assurance Manager to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is a permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
