This beautiful, homely, friendly, Nursing Home provides personalised Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care to elderly residents, based in Shanklin, Isle of Wight.

This stunning Care Home is currently seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager or Care Practitioner or Care Team Leader seeking a step up.

Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse (with a PIN or PIN expired or NVQ Level 4 or Level 5 or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

We are seeking someone who can lead and inspire the Nursing and Care Team end ensure quality Care and Support is delivered to a high standard.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a Nursing Home or Residential Care Home.

Experience in some of the following is important:

  • Strong leader with supervisory experience.
  • Ability to administer medication.
  • Ability to write and update Care Plans.
  • Doing Audits and Quality Assurance.
  • Doing Supervisions and Appraisals.
  • Dealing with action plans.
  • Ability to deal with family members, GP s/Doctors and Social Services.
  • Robust knowledge and skills in promoting Person Centred Care Plans.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC fundamental standards.
  • You must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with a good eye for detail.
