Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Head of Department

Salary: £175-£240 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of engaging Design and Technology lessons, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

• Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and excellence.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student projects, guiding their technical and creative development.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience, driving excellence in DT education.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, or a relevant qualification in Design and Technology.

• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology is essential.

• Proficiency in a range of DT disciplines, including woodworking, metalworking, and electronics.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic educational environment.

The position is based in Brighton and involves teaching responsibilities for at least 4 days a week. The role is available for an immediate start, with flexibility to accommodate the right candidate’s schedule.
