About the job:

The primary purpose of the role is leadership of people and management of processes to enable delivery of business excellence. The focus is on getting things done safely to deliver quality, great customer service and a right time railway.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• To lead and develop a team of front-line colleagues to deliver all safety standards, processes, and procedures and to ensure the safety and security of our customers and colleagues whilst delivering a great experience for all
• Close stakeholder management
• Create a culture where customer service is recognised, and customer expectations are exceeded.
• Engage with and develop relationships with all appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure right-time train departures through close performance management.
• Ensure our stations maintain Service Quality Experience (SQE) scores through auditing and rectifying issues immediately.

You’ll need to be:

• Able to develop relationships and share information cross-functionally and with key stakeholders, seeking and offering support when required.
• Operational Competence would be an advantage.
• Able to demonstrate positive leadership styles and behaviours.

As a minimum, you will need to have:

• Experience in successfully delivering customer service initiatives.
• A successful track record of dealing with complex issues.
• Experience in delivering performance-related targets.
• Strong computer literacy skills (MS Word, Excel etc.)

Working Pattern:

Working as part of a team, you will be expected to support the team and the business when it’s needed most. Whilst ensuring you enjoy regular time away from work, you will be expected to support the station during special events and railway upgrade work, and therefore working hours during weekends or unsociable hours on occasion is part and parcel of working on an operational railway.

About the Location:

This position covers all North Cotswold stations; these include 5 staffed stations and 8 unstaffed stations. The area begins in the east at Hanborough and finishes in the west at Worcestershire Parkway.
