Nursery: Buxlow Preparatory School & Nursery
Position: Early Years Practitioner, Full-Time
Salary: £22,000 – £28,000 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Wembley, London
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with 1-hour unpaid break)
9:00 am – 6:00 pm (with 1-hour unpaid break)
We are currently looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team! The nursery is situated in Wembley, close to transport links. The nursery has access to London and an abundance of activities at its doorstep.

About Us
Buxlow is an independent preparatory school in Middlesex, founded in 1927. Open to both girls and boys, Buxlow offers pupils a superb quality of education whilst promoting positivity, confidence and respect.
At Buxlow Nursery, we are very proud to provide the nurturing, supportive environment that gives children the very best start in their education. There are many positives at Buxlow Nursery, but the most exciting and obvious one is impossible to condense into a few sentences.
Learning in Nursery is facilitated by a brilliant team of practitioners. Our staff know each child individually, helping children to develop strong personal links with a range of adults, not just one key worker. Working at our Nursery
Rooms: Toddlers (2 to 3 years), Preschool (4 to 5 years)
Opening Times: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 51 weeks per year
You will:
Plan, create, and implement engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Keep a record of children’s progress and reflect on learning practices.
Communicate to develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.
Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following all child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Provide support to other nursery staff members and work collaboratively with them.
About You
Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework.
