Electrical Business Development Manager required. Our client is a specialist electrical contracting business, with nominations for such awards as electrical contractor of the year, looking for a Electrical Business Development Manager in the Hertfordshire area to join the team within the commercial sector. This role has come around due to the growth of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen our team, working on a wide range of construction projects.

Successful candidates will have at least 5 years experience in a similar based role and business.

Electrical Business Development Manager Position Overview

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities by promoting and selling a full range of independent connection provider service offerings with a focus on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Manage, develop, and maintain day-to-day commercial relationships with new and existing direct accounts in the defined market/s and grow regular repeat business.
• Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s set annual sale goals, business plans and KPI’s.
• Creation of deliverable solutions based on customers’ needs by supporting the sales team in the generation of proposals, presentations, technical specifications, and the participation in face-to-face proposals.
• Create and implement a strategic business plan and sales forecasts to actively archive set goals.
• Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and prospective customers including staying up to date with new trends.

Electrical Business Development Manager Position Requirements

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining new business in B2B transactions, with a background in construction and/or utilities.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of at least 3 years of experience within relevant role.
• Comfortable working to targets and set KPIs under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good computer skills, with a knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications, such as MS word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
• Knowledge of the electrical industry specifically within the ICP Sector (desirable)

Electrical Business Development Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary: £45,000- £50,000
• Working hours: 8- 5pm
• Holiday package: 20 days + 8BH
• Commission Scheme and Yearley bonus
