Job Title: Facilities and Property Manager (Maternity Cover)

Duration: up to 15 months

Salary: £43814 increasing to £45000 after 6 months’ probation and £46,227 after 12 months

Location: West London

Hybrid: 3-4 days (hybrid working, with per week in the office per week)

As Facilities and Property Manager your day to day will include:

• Guarantee a safe, well-maintained, accessible, and inclusive office environment for everyone.
• Supervise facilities and service contracts for both the office and other properties.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations and adhere to environmental best practices.
• Conduct workplace assessments and procure, maintain, and return necessary equipment as needed.
• Ensure easy accessibility and regular communication of processes and guidance related to the office for staff.
• Lead the implementation of office and health & safety induction for new staff.

Maintain and embed Health and Safety policies and procedures for all aspects of the organisation.

• Ensure all relevant inspections are carried out.
• Contribute to the formulation and oversight of property budgets, including rental income.
• Uphold and integrate Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure relevant Health and Safety training for staff and volunteers.
• Conduct all required inspections.
• Develop and institutionalise a Risk Assessments process and procedure.

As facilities and property Manager your skills, experience and attributes will include:

• Proven expertise in property and office facilities management.
• Possession of an IOSH qualification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in overseeing workplace health and safety.
• Understanding of landlord responsibilities.
• Track record in staff management.
• Experience in budget management and costings.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft applications.
• Strong commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
• Has a vehicle and holds a clean driving license for business-related travel.
