Worcester, Worcestershire
National Trust
Summary
Do you enjoy being part of a team with a cause? Do you want to help care for important historic buildings and estates?
We’re looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Croome in a tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.
You’ll be required to work regular weekends and the proposed working pattern will be Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
We are currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2024.
What it’s like to work here
You’ll be part of the facilities team, who are friendly and supportive of each other. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll work along side three other Facilities Assistants, and an Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator. Each new day is different with it own exciting challenges, no two days are the same.
Croome is a 730 acre estate, designed for the 6th Earl of Coventry in the C18th by the celebrated Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, who designed not only the landscape but Croome Court and other buildings too. We have landscape gardens, woodland and parkland as well as a mile and long ornamental river to care for. We have original WWII RAF buildings that now contain an RAF Museum and Visitor centre. At Croome we ask our visitors to ‘expect the unexpected’, presenting the house and park in a new and exciting way.
