The FD has highlighted this role as the very first role in finance- you will set up all the transactional processes across Procure to Pay, Purchase Ledger, Sales Leder and all associated financial controls, as well as help in broader admin duties to set up their new finance/operations headquarters here in West Yorkshire.
If you want a role with variety, where you like the excitement of a start up where you can be involved in lots of different areas in finance and to set up an office then this is a role not to be missed!
Furture scope of the role:
This is entirely based on what you’re wanting long term!
This function will get much bigger, with an anticipated finance transactions team of at least 15-20! So if see yourself taking on the role of Head of Transactions as the company grows then the FD can support you in getting there.
The FD is happy for you to take a senior role that is number 2 to a head of department.
Or you can choose a different route in finance eg if you had plans to further your accounting experience and want to become an accountant
What they’re looking for:
Having broad transactional finance experience, including working in Purchase Ledger, Procure To Pay functions is very much needed.
Experience of having a broader remit across finance and admin would be a bonus, as would having set up transactional processes and/or implementing systems.
AAT qualification is a nice to have.
