We’re looking for an Head of Social Media to join a company within the health tech industry. They are looking for someone who has a deep passion & obsessed with all things social media.
Social media plays a huge part of this companies success! You be focusing on Facebook, TikTok, Podcasts, YouTube and LinkedIn to ensure they are getting the maximum amount of engagement possible. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and face of the brand to build a team, create a content strategy, and produce top-tier social media content.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build and lead a social media team, including videographers and social media assistants.
Prep for daily content production, ensuring our content creators are ready to shoot content as soon as they step through the door. This includes managing lighting, cameras, wardrobe, scripts and props.
Make sure content is posted to the right channels at the right times.
Report on which content performs the best and why.
Keep on top of social media trends, platform updates and best practices. Research new trends, hashtags and engagement techniques and bring innovative ideas and suggestions to the team.
Make sure we are engaging with our incredible online community and actively interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages.
Spot opportunities to initiate conversations and get user-generated content from our members.
Carry out in-depth research on competitors’ social media strategies, content, and audience engagement. Use findings to benchmark our performance and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor social media platforms for brand mentions, customer feedback, and industry-related discussions. Flag potential issues or opportunities for the team’s attention.
Lead, mentor and motivate the social media team, making sure that your staff are able to perform to the best of their abilities.
Some of the requirements:
A discerning eye for effective social media strategy, brilliant problem-solving skills and a passion for all things social media, particularly within the health and fitness sector.
Experience with growing a social media channel.
Experience using industry-standard content creation equipment is a bonus.
Brilliant written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and engage with your team and our members.
Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise assignments effectively.
A willingness to learn and adapt rapidly within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Creativity and the capacity to contribute innovative ideas for content creation, campaigns, and engagement strategies.
Proficiency in graphic design and editing tools.
