Interim Finance Business Partner – Gainsborough – £60,000 – £80,000Chase & Holland are proud to be exclusively partnering this highly successful niche FMCG business who are looking to recruit an experienced, proactive Senior Finance Business Partner for an initial 3-6-month contract. This offers the right individual a great opportunity to make a real difference and play a strategic role in continuing to drive the business forward. Working closely with the Operational, Sales, Purchasing and Leadership teams to help drive profitability and efficiencies.Salary & Benefits include:

Finance Business Partner responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of the P&L and balance sheet with focus on margin, operating costs and inventory
  • Develop and improve MI systems to generate more meaningful KPIs and quicker
  • Proactively seek and implement cost saving initiatives across the business
  • Monthly cost centre reporting and reviews with the budget holders on a monthly basis to challenge and drive the numbers
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Stock control, reconciliations and managing the stock position
  • Cost, profitability, sales & margin analysis
  • In-depth variance analysis and working with Operational Managers to drive efficiencies and reduce risk
  • Updating and maintenance of standard costing
  • Liaising with Operational teams to give financial support for capex projects and the provide project tracking
  • Carrying out a variety of ad-hoc projects, strategic planning and ‘what if’ scenarios

The ideal candidate will:

  • CIMA / ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Have vast experience of a similar Operational management accounting position within the manufacturing sector
  • A good understanding of operational reporting, costing and stock management and analysis
  • Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers
  • Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo
  • Have a logical & analytical approach to problem solving and be a self-starter
