The Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operating of financial operations linked to service delivery. The Finance Manager will work with a great deal of autonomy whilst collaborating with external third parties across Government.
Description
- Oversee financial operations and develop effective financial strategies.
- Manage budget planning and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
- Maintain the financial health of the organisation.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
- Formulate strategic and long-term business plans.
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Interim Finance Manager should have:
- An Accountancy Qualification.
- A solid background in financial management.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager ideally gained within a public service organisation.
- Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Be a proficient user of finance software.
- Strong analytic skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong aptitude and desire for problem-solving.
