Internal Sales Assistant Part Time

My client is looking to bring in an experienced Sales person to join their expanding Sales Office.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Service customers and process sales orders over the telephone.
• Manage a sales ledger of customers and build relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Possess strong knowledge of building materials in order to provide advice to customers.
• Make proactive sales calls to new and existing customers to maintain relationships and help to grow the business.

Person Specification:

• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team and on own initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Previous experience in the construction industry/sector .
