- To work closely with the customer and various internal departments both local & global to define and administer the customers requirements
- Product definition and interpretation of customer requirements.
- Processing customer enquiries through existing CRM software including preparation of cost calculations.
- Creation, submission and follow up of customer quotations.
- Creation and maintenance of customer master data in CRM and SAP software.
- Processing of customer demand in SAP
- Provide customer support after receipt of order
- Creation of material master and Bill of Material data in SAP
- Digital document archiving
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 GCSE’s grade C and above including Maths and English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers
- Ability to use software such as SAP and Microsoft Suite
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial working for a company in a manufacturing engineering field
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks and prioritise accordingly
- Full UK driving license and the ability to travel for occasional customer visits and ongoing training requirements
