IT Manager (Technical hands-on) Part Time

Devonshire Hayes have partnered with an Essex based company to help them recruit a forward thinking hands on IT Manager.

You will be tasked with the following,

– Application Management: Take ownership of the ERP, CRM, and field service applications, ensuring their smooth operation, availability, and optimal performance. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement upgrades, enhancements, and integrations as needed.

– IT Support: Manage an outsource IT support team and services, ensure timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, and maintain high user satisfaction. Also be hands-on on general IT support if necessary.

– IT Budget and Expenditure: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while meeting business requirements. Monitor expenditures, negotiate contracts, and optimize vendor relationships to achieve cost savings and value for money.

– IT Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the group IT team to develop and execute IT strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives. Contribute to the development of IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment.

– IT Project Management: Lead and oversee IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Define project objectives, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

– Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align IT solutions accordingly
