IT Support Assistant – Edinburgh – 24-26K
Lorien’s client, a growing Edinburgh based firm in the logistics sector, has asked us to help them in their searches for an IT Assistant/First Line style Support specialist for a new role in their business.
This is a great opportunity to work very closely with a supportive IT Manager, learn from them and the wider business as you go, and progress within a firm who will upskill you along the way.
You’ll act as a key partner to the manager, help with the incoming workload, fulfil a range of internal support duties, help to improve business systems/network infrastructure/production software as needed, process data and documentation, and more.
What they’re looking for:
- A demonstrable background in similar roles such as IT Support / Technical Assistant / 1st Line / Service Desk / Helpdesk support
- Confidence and ability to work with personnel at any level within the business
- Ideally knowledge/skills across JavaScript and HTML, but training will be given either way
- Ability to upskill as the business and its technical offerings change and improve
