The Researcher/Administrator supports the team of a small office whose mission is to support Japanese private industry in securing a stable supply of natural resources to the Japanese market. The London office focuses on mining exploration and development in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Capability to communicate in Japanese (written & spoken) is absolutely essential, in addition to totally fluent English. Additional experience of living in Japan and/or working in a Japanese corporate office, and/or knowledge of Japanese business culture is desirable.

Reliable person, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks during busy periods
Employment:One-year contract, with the possibility of renewal (rolling contract).
Working hours: 9am to 5pm, with lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:15pm
Salary range: £25-30K, depending on skills and experience. Discretionary annual bonus of up to one month’s salary, depending on performance
Desired start date: ASAP
Location: London (Currently 2 days of working from home, which may change depending on the situation)
Visa status: Permission to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not possible for this position)
